Inside the main residence, you’ll find a warm, welcoming space anchored by a chef’s commercial-grade kitchen — perfect for everything from intimate dinners to group feasts. A cozy indoor fireplace sets the mood for cooler evenings, while expansive windows frame the moonrise over the water — a nightly spectacle that never gets old.

Two serene bedrooms (Queen/Double) offer peaceful retreats, with a stylish barn door separating the sleeping wing for added privacy. The second living quarters has two spacious rooms (Double/Single) divided by a shared bathroom, ideal for teens or grandparents to have their own space. For your entertainment there are multiple SMART TVs, books and board games.

The property is fully fenced and has a small lawn area perfect for pets. NB: The fencing is suitable for medium to large dogs, small dogs are welcome but the fencing will not keep them contained.

Mangawhai is the perfect summer holiday destination or coastal retreat. With its beautiful swimming and surf beaches and abundant marine life, Mangawhai is a popular spot for sailing, fishing, surfing, diving and summer family fun. The clear waters of the estuary provide safe family swimming, and the secluded white sand beaches of Te Arai and Pakiri are a short drive away.

Enjoy the vibrant art and cafe scene, local farmers market and the famous Bennetts Chocolate Shop. Soak up the natural beauty of this slice of coastal paradise, beachcombing, bush walking or just relaxing in a comfy chair with a glass of something cool.

LINEN OPTIONS:  To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.
